Did you miss me?
Well I missed you. :)
I guess I have a lot of explaining to do. You're probably wondering where I have been for the past five months. Why haven't I written or posted a picture of something super yummy?
Well here's the easiest answer.
That's right. I'm knocked up and having a baby!
Got a bun in the oven.
A mommy in the making... well you get the point.
And let me tell you, morning sickness is real, it lasts all day and night and it sucks!
During the first four months of my pregnancy I was as sick as a dog.
Think about when your dog starts making that hacking noise and then pukes on the carpet in a corner hoping no one will notice.
Yeah, that was me for about 18 weeks.
The thought of reading or writing about cooking made me want to hurl. Even the word VEGAN made me queasy. (FUN FACT: I don't know the proper usage for nausea and nauseated so I just use the word queasy.)
But now I am almost 24 weeks and life is feeling a lot better. So I hope to slowly ease myself back into blogging again.
And I have some great topics coming up. Like how I struggled with staying meat, egg and dairy free when all I could stomach french fries.
How I am learning to eat like my old self again and it is making all the difference in how I feel.
So I hope you didn't give up on me. I hope you'll stick around and who knows maybe one day this summer I'll be blogging about our newest addition.
